Chief Coach Wikki Tourists, Wada Jubrin, has lamented the 2-0 loss to Doma United, blaming on failure of his team to play according to instructions.
Usman Musa scored both goals in the 44th and 48th minute of the Nigeria Premier Professional League group B played at Pantami stadium Gombe.
Decrying the defeat Jubrin, described the implication of the 2-0 loss as terrible, while expressing optimism that the Tourists would bounce back.
“The boys didn’t play to instructions and we conceded a goal, look at the second goal. The implication is terrible because we have gone down. There is a chance for Wikki and we are going to win our next match,” he said.
Lamenting on the officiating, he added, “the officiating is too bad because we have scored a clean goal and he disallowed the goal, look at the good. If he (referee) had allowed the goal we would have equalised the goal.”
On his part, Akinade Onigbinde, Technical Adviser of Doma United, who was full of gratitude to his team for expediting their rating to the third position, said his boys played according their plan, adding that Doma has come to stay and should not be taken with levity.
He said, “They played according to game plan and we thank God everything went well. Everything in life is determination, determination on the par of the team and officials. We are working hard towards it. I have said it Doma has come to stay any team that underrates Doma, is on its own.”
