Gombe State Commissioner of Police,CP Oqua Etim is one of the performing commissioners of police.
Etim, is dedicated,committed, hard-working and professional in the discharge of his legitimate duties in Gombe State.
According to the cross sections of people in Gombe State, the CP superintended the peaceful conduct of both the Presidential and National Assembly elections and Governorship and State House Assembly elections which observers subscribed as peaceful, orderly and professional as a result of adequate provision of security agencies during and after the elections in the state.
The gentleman Etim who has brought professionalism and police rules and regulations in all his dealings with officers and men of command is highly intelligent, articulate, brilliant and has listening ears, no wonder that Gombe people commended him for his style of leadership which has brought discipline, commitment, dedication and professionalism into the police space in the state.
Since, the CP Oqua Etim took over from Assistant Inspector General of Police Babatunde Ishola, the state headquarters currently wears new look from the massive infrastructural development that took place including his office, conference room and other physical developments recorded under his Watch.
Some people attributed his leadership style as the spirit of new breed cop which is what the country needs at this critical time.
