NKST Angor honours Gombe NSCDC Commandant
The Gombe State Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Commandant CC Achir Abraham, was honoured with an award of meritorious contribution by Nongo Kristu U I SER U SHA TAR (Universal Reformed Christian Church) Angor Mbagen, Buruku Local Government Area Benue State.
Our correspondent reports that the Commandant was honoured on 16th April, 2023, following his contributions to the development of the church.
Presenting the award Rev Pastor Manasseh Lordye, lauded Abraham for his various interventions, urging others to emulate his deeds.
Lordye said “having had a close watch on you, we deemed it fit for you, you are a light to our generation, God will continue to provide for you.”
Commandant Abraham, while commending the church for the honour bestowed on him adding that “the recognition showed that he had done something differently touching lives.”
He concluded that despite receiving several awards, the honour was special to him as it was coming from a highly respected faith-based denomination, adding that the recognition will spur him to do more.
Commandant also appreciated all his officers and men who accompanied him to witness the presentation of the award at his hometown.
