PART ONE SEASON THREE: RE-GROUP CAUTIONS TINUBU OVER APPOINTMENT OF OPPOSITION MEMBERS
By Okedara Kolawole
It is very important we put things in proper perspective and also checkmate those who did not sow but want to reap where they did not sow to be careful and be watchful on what to say when it comes to our principal Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
we found it highly nauseating a publication with the above caption written in Aljazirah Newspaper, and attributed to a Support Group named Progressives Advisory Forum for Good Governance (PAFOGG).
The press release was not only cheap but malicious, deceitful and a very chameleon style to attract public attention, and in fact, that of the President-elect to a group of hypocrites, desperados and pests who contributed nothing to the victory of our party, and indeed the President – elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Senator Kashim Shettima but suddenly became so impatient about appointments into the new administration.
We noted with dismay the grand effrontery and absolute lack of courtesy in the publication. In their desperate calculation to seek audience, they brought into the publication and some of their previous write-ups notable Asiwaju’s allies who had already earned their place automatically in the new administration through hard work, unrivaled loyalty and clear exhibition of political morality.
These acknowledged distinguished like Governor El-Rufai, Governor Ganduje, etc needed no introduction by any group that truly took part in the election that produced Asiwaju as President-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Meanwhile, the group employed dubious strategy to actually attract undeserved attention through these big names in order to unjustly benefit where they haven’t contributed.
We found this approach quite myopic and unnecessary from a group that was practically unknown throughout the entire election process.
Please note that, the so called leader of the group, one Mr Nwosu Emmanuel hails from Imo State where the performance of the Party was abysmally very poor, and where the President-elect recorded only 30,234 votes, and approximately 1,120 votes when calculated according to the number of Local Governments in the state.
The situation was of course, the same in the FCT where the so called leader of the group is probably based.
These were individuals who were busy begging for funds and political connections in Abuja while genuine loyalists and true supporters of the Party and Asiwaju were canvassing and mobilising votes from one community to the other to ensure victory for our Principal.
People like Nwosu who regularly pride himself as a former factional National Chairman of PDP and his cohorts should rather bury their heads in shame and allow the President – elect to do what he knows how to do best. We, however wonder what credentials or pedigree Mr Nwosu has that gave him the kind of mussels and audacity to constitute the cabinet of the incoming administration in proxy.
This style of lobby for political appointment and self recognition is obsolete and old-fashioned. You are advised to stop these cheap and myopic style of lobbying and you expect close to 2,000 APC Support Groups under the leadership of Dr Ladan Nasir, who showed dedication and commitment before and during the elections for the actualization of Asiwaju’s Mandate to sit back and watch while you decimate and desecrate the dignity of their hard work.
Your antecedents are already known and might be made public if you continue dancing naked in the Public.
You are strongly advised to desist from this very low trick and retire to exactly where you belong.
We shall keep monitoring the activities of your so called group forthwith, and we will not overlook any publication that threatens the capacity and sophistication of the President – elect.
