I am indeed very happy for Gombe State to have received the award on esse of doing business for the years 2021, and 2022 consecutively. I dedicate the awards to the Governor and good people of Gombe State who made it possible to happen.
” The Governor has given us (the Committee) a free hand to perform, and the people of the state have given us the needed support. Achieving any success in things like this requires the support of every individual, and all sectors. The winning of the award shows there was no failure from every side. I therefore congratulate everyone in Gombe, especially the members of the Committee for making us succeed.
” I had this experience while in the Customs. We had to contend with problems if addressing delays in clearing and processing of goods and documents. We ensured we made the procedure very easy and with less stress. This is what providing ease of doing business environment is all about.
“Very soon, the Industrial Park will take off. We consider this award as a challenge to maintain the momentum by doing more in boosting business activities in the state towards socio-economic development.
