The APC Go-To-Court Mantra And Democracy In Nigeria:A Critical Appraisal Of 2023 General Election (opinion)

A society where crimes are committed under the watch of laws and the cover of political powers wielded by the political actors and factors of the government of the day will never witness the flavour of true democracy and true federalism.
Soyinka in a bid to defend his tribal kinsman in furtherance of the Yoruba indelible doctrine of sentimental belief has forgotten that activism that Datti is likened to is far from fascism,a word that ought to be attributed to the electoral crimes committed by the top political actors and factors of the APC.It is now a truism that any crop planted by the APC must be rooted in lies,falsehood and crimes. APC as party formed by the cunning politicians from the Yoruba race is known for the act that runs the Nigerian society aground using the party as the political bait,with their favour-seeking writers who lie to please their master,BAT. A Yoruba man must defend his biological kinsman no matter the level of electoral crimes involved.
The BAT’s pseudo-intellectual writers who took up writing to receive handsome pay from political top actors,and the other self-acclaimed writing achievers,have obviously come to rescue their tribal kinsman with peddling of lies and wordplay as demonstrated by Soyinka’s definition of fascism to weaken Datti’s spirit of activism.The APC jobbers’ rise to defend electoral crimes perpetrated by the party which resulted in the stealing of the LP’s Peter Obi mandate is the height of democratic rape in Nigeria.The 2023 general election that was turned into full war with tribal bigotry and ethnic cleansing covered by the INEC doctored results has truly awaken Chimamanda from her peaceful slumber to leave her comfort zone for America to paint the true picture of the elections before Joe Biden.It is better I write to APC before Nigeria truly becomes a mere geographical and historical expression.
On my arrival from my 8-day journey of election duty,a top APC member glaringly told me that obi-dients should go to court.I understood clearly that the desecration of the sacred temple of justice in Nigeria by the powers-that-be will make a political criminal go scot-free even when truth is known,but side by prejudice and sentiments to over up lies. The APC has selfishly institutionalised democratic acculturation in Nigeria with display of political powers for the promotion of selfish political interests.Yes,the Nigerian society and by extension,the world knows that Peter Obi won the 2023 Presidential Election but the powers-that-be rubbed him and told him to go to court.The judiciary must redeem themselves with political salvation and bring about the consecration of the sacred temple of justice with truth,in passing judgements for good of the society.For the APC to turn election into war and tell the oppressed to go to court made mess of our fledgling democracy and undermined the rule of law and electoral act in Nigeria political environment.That is just an invitation of anarchy and tyranny in the Nigerian society through electoral crimes.APC told us to go to court because they believed they rigged the election and would still dictate for the judiciary as the government in power at the centre.
INEC pre-election sayings and election doings were quite different.The much-worked-upon electoral act passed by the National Assembly and assented to by Mr.President was not obeyed in the conduct of the election by both the APC and the INEC.Results were not uploaded at the real time during the election,so where are transparency and accountability in the electoral process?The APC applied the powers of wit and might to disenfrachise the masses and went ahead to unleash terrible mayhem on the Nigerian electorates most especially in Lagos State during the general elections.
The much-talked-about structures that the APC hid upon are nothing but the use of Governors to rig elections.That introduced institutional politics in Nigeria.For one to get promotion in any of the government offices,he must dance to the tunes of the party in power to the extent of accepting to be used for the electoral advantage of the powers-that-be.In a society where political system determines everything,that means the structure of the APC is just to gain politically powers illegally.Those under their payrolls that are used by them to get whatever they want from government in power are called their structures.The political structures are the INEC officers that have been working for the powers-that-be through election rigging.They are the security agents that have been dancing to their tunes.They are people they feed with the national coffers who are under their whims and caprices.The structures are the governors whom they use to rig the various States during the presidential election.The structures are the party thugs,hoodlums,favour-seekers and many more that they use to rig elections.The structures are the VCs who got their offices through the instrumentality of the powers-that-be.The structures are the INEC and other stakeholders who were paid from the coffers of the government in power and used to rig election in the interests of the powers-that-be.The major structure they parade is the national treasury used to rig the people it is supposed to be used to better their lives. Peter Obi used the true structure of the suffering masses in Nigeria who desired for change to win but was rubbed using the rigging structure of the APC.
The results of the 2023 general elections did not reflect the wishes of Nigerians during elections.All electoral stakeholders know that Peter Obi emerged but were rigged,so the job of the judiciary has been made easier.I will not live to witness the type of judiciary that will pass a judgement saying that BAT won the presidential election.The facts and figures are there to prove that the LP’s Peter Obi won the election.We must save Nigeria by standing for the truth.
