Goje: APC National overrules Gombe expulsion
The National headquarters of All Progressives Congress on Thursday overruled expulsion of Senator Danjuma Goje, former Governor of Gombe State.
Periscope Nigeria reports that Kashere ward had on 18th April 2023 expelled Goje following alleged anti-party activities levelled against him by the chairman Abdullahi Tanimu.
However, both Local Government and State Executive Committee in the state had endorsed the expulsion.

“Failure to attend all APC campaign rallies and tours in Gombe State, including the one in his own Gombe Central Senatorial Zone, Akko Federal constituency, state assembly and ward unit.
“Hobnobbing with opposition parties and their candidates with the intent to undermine the success of the APC in Gombe State and Nigeria in General,” Tanimu alleged.
According to a statement made available by the National Publicity Secretary, Barrister Felix Morka, he said Goje remained a bonafide member of the APC.
He said the National Working Committee of the party would review the alleged allegations, saying that all matters should be pending.
The statement partly read, “The attention of the National Headquarters of All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to media reports of the purported expulsion of His Excellency, Senator Mohammad Danjuma Goje by the Gombe State Executive Committee of our Party.
“The Party has directed that the said expulsion and all related actions in the matter be, and are hereby, set aside pending further review and decision of the Party’s National Working Committee (NWC) on the matter.
“Therefore, Senator Goje is, and remains, a bonafide member of the Gombe State Chapter of our Party.”
