To Children, Grandchildren of Judges involved in Monday’s Presidential Election Tribunal

By Agodi KANU

25th February, 2023 was a day every Nigerian waited for aimed at opening a new chapter of democracy and good governance in Nigeria, at least for the next four year. That day was filled with expectations tilted more towards Presidential election than National Assembly elections into Senate and House of Representatives. It was a day that majority of Nigerians wanted to make history as many were first time voters, wiping away the toga of my vote won’t count and to witness INEC America wonder of viewing results real time online. It was filled with a desire to change the sad narratives and excuses of flawed electoral processes over the years and justifying N350bn spent by and on INEC. People travelled hundreds of kilometres to cast votes meant to count and be part of the historic electoral year. They were all dreams and remain dreams till date.

The realities were that voting didn’t take place in most places but that’s not the real issue. Painfully, voters, mostly first time voters were intimidated, harassed and didn’t vote and swore never to vote again. Votes were bought in some places, some law enforcement officers meant to maintain laws broke the laws, voters were suppressed and materials didn’t even get to some voting locations. These were not even the real headache.

Granted that the election took place, the real deal , super deal was with the pathetic and calculated but unintelligent manipulation of the BIVAS that couldn’t allow Presidential results to be uploaded on the IREV. Yes, Senatorial and House of Representatives results were successfully uploaded real time but Presidential failed. Stories and counter stories began to emerge. Nigerians at home, in Diaspora and all over the world were victims of mental, psychological, social and emotional onslaught all night while hoping against hope. It was a long night of waiting that graduated into Sunday night with no reasonable and responsible explanations. INEC wilfully raped it’s own laws without mercy and by extension raped reasonable Nigerians and our money spent in the entire process.

While the mutilated, falsified and poorly added figures were being marshalled out by Emperor Yakubu Mahmood, objections were raised by opposition party agents and he overruled them and made ONE promise. King Mahmood promised to look into their complaints after collation. Alas, he never did. Hopes were dashed and expectations buried. He dropped his garment of honour as a Professor and wore the apparel of dishonour to nicodemusly announce a charade and compounded figures at 4:03am when men and women of honour were sleeping. That first day of March, the sun dimmed and political darkness ruled over the light. Sadness was visible and many people asked God a lot of WHY questions. That reminded me how the Ogun State governor chose to announce Mr Andy Ubah winner of APC Primaries in Anambra State on 26th June, 2021 about same time awarding him over 230,000 votes whereas he managed to get less than 50,000 votes in general election and I ask, who bi fool? Chief George Moghalu, successfully prosecuted the matter up to Supreme Court and won in all the courts just to prove there was no APC primary election in Anambra State.

After awarding Alhaji Atiku Abubakar second and Mr Peter Obi third, they declared Mr Ahmed Tinubu winner and encouraged others to go to court. As responsible citizens, both Atiku and Obi went to court. While the case is in court waiting to be heard, the merchants of darkness and agents of manipulation and propaganda will not rest. They kept churning out wicked and devilish agenda against Obi in particular without knowing he’s Okute (solid rock) and that’s the spiritual meaning of his name. First was doctored audio of his conversation with the firepower Bishop David Oyedepo. Second was duplication of his identity to get him embarrassed at Heathrow Airport London and then the shameless picture claiming he went to visit the INEC not Nigerians President-(s)elect. The current suplanting of one Lamido Apapa or Ajegunle to mess up Obi and Labour Party case in court is still trending. But unseen forces will give them hot chase that they won’t recognize their addresses again. They all died as soon as they arose and will keep submitting to superior forces.

MY HUMBLE CHARGE AS YOU GO UNTO DADDY, MUMMY, GRANDMA AND GRANPA
The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has been constituted. It’s made up men and women of the bench with impeccable character whom history beckons at this time and season in the affairs of Nigeria and black race. They are according to The Whistler Justice Monica Bolna’an Dongban-Mensem, Justice Joseph Ikyegh, Justice Abba Bello Mohammed, Justice Stephen Jonah Adah and Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani.

According to the Holy Bible, in the Book of Esther, you shall go unto your parents as Queen Esther went to the King Mordecai. Your missions are same but not simple….to liberate your people. It was such a difficult task that when Esther was challenged that if she could not undertake the assignment at that time, God will raise another person. Esther accepted (please accept) and she called for prayers (we shall intercede for you) and committed to the task (please be committed to this) even as she said she will go unto the King and if she perish, she perish. You know what? Esther never perished and she succeeded. In going unto the judges, you shall not perish, you shall succeed for the upright, downtrodden, helpless, hopeless, mortgaged and inconsolable Nigerians.

1. Dear family members of the judges, please pray for mummy and daddy that excellent spirit, uncommon wisdom and immeasurable courage may take over their whole being. This is important because they shall contend with many forces.

2. Remind mummy and daddy about the precarious mood of the nation where majority are not rejoicing on declaration of result in contrast to the jubilation, yes wide and wild jubilation witnessed in Abia State the day Dr Alex Chioma Otti was declared elected not selected Governor of Abia State (Go and verify).

3.Bring to notice of our respected jurists that King Mahmood failed to comply with the constitutional requirement of 25% in FCT and show them the decided case between Buhari vs Obasanjo (2003) All NLR 168 in Supreme Court. Yakub missed it.

4. On our behalf, let them see reasons that INEC erred by failing to upload the Presidential results as required by 2022 Electoral Act as amended to the portal from the BIVAS at the Polling Unit. Please don’t fail to commit the INEC Chairman to prison without option of fine. For toying with your future, insist and convince them to send Yakub and his Commissioners and Directors to prison with hard labour.

5. Tell them to meticulously look into the Chicago State University lingering issues without bias and judge as if they are standing before Almighty God.

6. Dear Family Rep, kindly ask mummy and daddy to seriously in all fairness, justice and equity determine this unabating drug conviction issue through payment of fine as forfeiture once and for all. And if guilty, they must do the needful as we will not be proud to have the person as our President. The opprobrium will be unbearable and tormenting. Tell them our global image is at stake. Show them again pictures and videos of those killed and wounded in this charade called election. Let them see again the picture of the young Plateau boy that committed suicide on account of the outcome of the Presidential election. Tell them that young Yusuf Alabi that boldly stood in front of Peter Obi’s convoy in Lagos represent the hope of New Nigeria which their judgement will shape.

7. Please, very importantly, can you ask them to halt the planned swearing in on 29th May pending conclusion of the matter? Kneel down in their rooms to remind them that there’s nowhere the constitution mentioned 29th May as handover date. Tell them to grant that prayer. Remind them of the implications of not doing so courtesy of the trending video of Dr Yusuf Ahmed Datti on the error of the planned swearing in. Cry on them if its possible to make them see reasons. Please win this case for us at home before the courtroom.

8. By the name of whatever God you believe in, our dear Representatives at the judges homes, please, tell them to reject every monetary inducements. Tell them that the names they have made and the ones they will still make by standing on justice is more enduring and eternal. Please, cry and tell them not to compromise and miscarry Justice. Remind them that Nigerians have lost hope in them but they can start afresh by righting the wrongs with this matter. Just mention that the Supreme Court pronouncements on Imo State governorship election three years ago and recent ones involving Senator Ahmed Lawan and Uncle Akpabio are still fresh. In fact, confess to them that even your friends are scared of you and cant trust you enough because you are a judge daughter or son. Appeal to them that the hope of millions of Nigerians at home and abroad rests on their shoulders.

9. Reassure them that Nigerians, well meaning Nigerians are praying for them against known and unknown principalities and powers. Just hug them and say mummy, daddy, good name is better than silver and gold and they should stand by the masses.

10. Finally, tell them that you’ve just played your part before him or her and God because someday, somehow, sometime and somewhere we shall all sleep to wake up before our creator to be judged. Let no mortal by reason of this case, lead them to eternal condemnation as many may commit suicide on account of further miscarriage of justice.

Do this in your families and witness joy unspeakable, peace like a river and unmerited favours.

God bless you on our behalf as we remain hopeful and anticipatory.
