APGA Osun greets Muslims on  Eid-el-Kabir 

The All Progressive Grand Alliance in Osun State has extended her warm greetings and felicitations to Muslims across the state on the auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

The party noted that the joyous festival commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God, emphasising the values of faith, sacrifice, and unity.

In a press statement issued on Wednesday, the Chairman of APGA Osun, Wole Adedoyin, expressed heartfelt wishes of peace, happiness, and prosperity to all Muslim faithful in Osun State and beyond.

The APGA Osun Chapter says its recognises the significance of this special day and joins millions of Muslims in celebrating the festival with utmost devotion and gratitude.

The APGA Osun Chairman, Adedoyin emphasised the importance of unity and tolerance among people of different faiths, urging Muslims to use this occasion to strengthen their bond with fellow citizens and foster harmonious coexistence.

He also acknowledged the contributions of the Muslim community to the progress and development of Osun State, commending their unwavering commitment to peace and social harmony.

APGA Osun further called on Muslims to use the occasion of Eid-el-Kabir to reflect on the values of selflessness and compassion exhibited by Prophet Ibrahim.

“This period of sacrifice serves as a reminder to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate and marginalised members of society, promoting empathy, and reinforcing the principles of social justice.

“The party also recognised the efforts of the Osun State Government in ensuring the security and welfare of citizens during the festivities,” the statement partly read.

APGA Osun applauded the government’s commitment to fostering an atmosphere of peace and harmony, which is crucial for the successful celebration of Eid-el-Kabir and the overall progress of the state.

“Finally, the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) Osun State wishes all Muslims a blessed Eid-el-Kabir filled with joy, love, and unity. The party remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting inclusivity, good governance, and the overall well-being of the people of Osun State,” the party added.
