Benjamin Sati beats Inuwa to clinch Gombe NBA Chair

The Electoral Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association 2023 election, Muhammad Isa Usman, on Wednesday announced Benjamin Sati, winner of the just concluded polls.
Declaring the results Usman, noted that Sati polled 134 to defeat his closest challenger A.M Inuwa, a human rights lawyer, who scored 100 votes.

Sati is a member Chartered Institute of Arbitrators United Kingdom.
Our correspondent reports that this is not Sati’s first attempt to lead the NBA in Gombe, he lost to Tukur Ahmad, in the last election.
Others who contested for the 2023 Chairmanship position aside Sati and Inuwa include A. K. Abdullahi with three votes and M. K. Gurumyen, who polled nine votes.
However, for the General Secretary position Babawuro Abdulmutalib, scored 130 to floor his closest rival K. K Jimoh, who polled 116 votes.

Mwalin Naomi Abdu, got a total of 198 votes to ratify her Vice Chairmanship position which was unopposed.
About eight positions including that of the Vice Chairman were unopposed, with members ratifying each of them with votes.
