Finn Balor’s vicious attack on Seth Rollins: Cody Rhodes leads team to victory

In an electrifying edition of Monday Night Raw at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, fans were treated to a night filled with thrilling action and entertaining moments.

The show kicked off with the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, stepping into the ring to issue an open challenge for his title. However, before anyone could respond, Finn Balor launched a surprise attack on Rollins from behind. Balor unleashed his frustration over not being able to capture the championship due to injuries he sustained during his victory over Rollins seven years ago. With relentless aggression, Balor delivered three devastating Coup de Grace moves to Rollins’ rib cage, prompting WWE officials to intervene. Undeterred, Balor pursued Rollins backstage, continuing his assault.
In line with the night’s events, The Judgment Day, consisting of Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Dominik, delivered a promo, setting the stage for the main event. They issued a challenge to Cody Rhodes and welcomed the return of social media mega-star Logan Paul to the WWE. Additionally, a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match was scheduled between Raquel Rodriguez and Trish Stratus.
The Miz vs. Tommaso Ciampa:
The Miz was given a surprise opponent for the night from the NXT.
Former NXT champion Tommaso Ciampa and Miz former buddy made his Monday Night Raw Debut. The both gave out their best fight against each other, but a sublime counter kick from Ciampa got him the win.
Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green vs. Kayden Carter and Katana Chance:
Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green battled Katana Chance and Kayden Carter. The Jersey Devil quickly took control of Katana and cornered her for a double-team spot with Green. Deville/Green’s team were much in control of the proceedings but it was the team of Katana and Carter that got the win with their After party finisher on Deville.
Indus Sher vs. Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin:
India’s Indis Sher which comprises of Veer Mahaan and Sanga led by Jinder Mahal continued their dominance by confirming a comfortable win over Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin in a squash match to continue their undefeated run since their RAW debut.
Logan Paul Returns:
The Social media star Logn Paul made his first entrance since WrestleMania 39. The Mega-star announced he would be competing in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Ludwig Kaiser vs Matt Riddle :
Matt Riddle faced Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser on a one-on-one match and won with ease. After the match, the Original Bro was attacked by the intercontinental Champion Gunther and Kiser.
Alpha Academy vs Viking Raiders:
Otis and Chad Gable took on Erik and Ivar in a tag team match to continue their rivalry, but Maxxine Dupri and Valhalla were also present at ringside. With the numbers game getting into play, it gave an opportunity for Erik of the Viking Raiders to win the match.
Rhea Ripley vs Natalya:
The match between the Smack down women’s champion and the former women’s champion ended at the backstage as Rhea attacked Natalya before she could even made it to the Ring which forces the match to be postpone.
Raquel Rodriguez vs. Trish Stratus:
Raquel Rodriguez got a fine start over her opponent, but Stratus made her way back after Rodriguez crashed into a ring post after a failed spear attempt.. Zoey Stark was at the ringside to aid Stratus. To even things, Becky Lynch appeared. Attack Stark and end up hitting Stratus as she won via. disqualification. With the win, Startus has qualified for the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match for the first time.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Bronson Reed:
Shinsuke Nakamura and Bronson Reed squared off in the MITB qualification match. Nakamura was taking care of things in the ring when Richochet appeared and caused a distraction which gave Reed the upper hand to land a Tsunami for the victory.
Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens vs. Judgment Day:
In the main event of the night after an intense promo by the Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, Damian Priest, and Dominik faced the tag team champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Cody Rhodes also joined forces with the tag champions after an earlier challenge thrown by Dominik. The match was full of ups and downs. Things change swiftly when Dom sets up Cody for a 619 and Zayn intercepted Dom with a clothesline and a Helluva Kick. Owens hit him with a stunner and Cody hit a Cross Rhoades on Priest for the win.
