Meet Adesua Dozie, new Vice Chairman of Exxon Mobil
ExxonMobil affiliates in Nigeria, Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPN) and Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (EEPNL), have appointed Ms Adesua Dozie as Vice-Chairman of the Boards of the Companies, with effect from Monday, June 12, 2023.
Until her appointment, Dozie was an Executive Director and General Counsel for MPN and EEPNL. She joined MPN in November 2019 as General Counsel and was elevated to the position of Executive Director on December 30, 2019.
She is a senior Legal Advisor with over 20 years of experience as a trusted leader for multinational companies across Africa in a diverse range of industries.
She holds a Bachelor of Law degree (LL. B.) from the University of Buckingham in the United Kingdom and a Master of Laws (LL.M) from Cornell Law School, New York.
She was admitted to the New York Bar in the US and also qualified as a barrister and solicitor in Nigeria.
First woman to be appointed to this position, in the company’s almost 70 years of operation in Nigeria.
