TUC, NLC assure Edo Commissioner continued support
The Edo State Ministry of Arts, Culture and Tourism chapter of the Trade Union Congress and Nigeria Labour Congress comrades paid a solidarity visit to the Honourable Commissioner of the Ministry, Dr Uyi Oduwa-Malaka, on Friday.
The Comrades, who chanted solidarity songs during the visit, were excited at the prospect of working with Oduwa-Malaka.
They expressed their delight that she was the one posted to head the Ministry, since they were well familiar with her enviable reputation. They promised to give Oduwa-Malaka maximum support throughout her stay in the Ministry.
The Commissioner expressed appreciation to the union for the visit, and assured them of doing the necessary things within her ambit to ensure workers welfare, “is not compromised; while also ensuring a harmonious working environment for all,” she added.
