Yahaya appoints SSG, others in Gombe

The first appointment made by Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for his second tenure has been commended by a cross section of people in the state as desirable and timely.
The commendations came when Secretary to State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Ngodi , a technocrat, a scholar and astute administrator was reappointed along with Director-General, Research and Documentation, Associate Professor, Shehu Muazu and Director- General of Press Affairs, Ismailia Uba Misill in a statement dated June 14.
According to the statement signed by Barrister Balarabe Poloma, the Permanent Secretary, Government House, Gombe, stated that all the appointments took effect from June 1, 2023 barely one month when the Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya,was sworn in for second tenure on May 29, 2023.
Meanwhile, the people who commended the appointments also reminded the Governor to inject new blood into his cabinet by appointing a new set of people who can deliver and not necessarily what they witnessed as low performance by some of his appontees in his first tenure.
