In a letter dated July 14, 2023, Mr Maik Ortserga, the ANA General Secretary, provided the list of Caretaker Committee members. The committee is composed of Mrs Nikeagbeja Adesanya as the Chairman, Mr Femi Omoniyi, as the Secretary, Mr Tayo Oguniran, and Mr. Samuel Otunla Oludare as members.

The primary responsibility of the Caretaker Committee is to oversee the affairs of ANA Osun until elections are conducted, in accordance with the association’s Constitution. Their tenure will last for three months, during which they are expected to provide effective leadership, promote growth and development through membership initiatives, and organize various literary activities.

One of the key tasks entrusted to the committee is the successful conduct of elections within the chapter. This ensures the democratic selection of new officials who will lead ANA Osun and uphold the values and objectives of the Association.

The National Executive Council expresses confidence in the abilities of the Caretaker Committee members to guide ANA Osun towards its esteemed past.

Their appointment reflects ANA’s commitment to strengthening its presence and promoting literary excellence in every region of Nigeria.

As the Caretaker Committee assumes its responsibilities, ANA encouraged members and stakeholders in Osun State to provide their full support and cooperation. Together, a vibrant literary community can be created that nurtures creativity, celebrates diversity, and enriches the cultural landscape of the state.

“ANA extends its best wishes to the newly constituted Caretaker Committee and prays for their success in their endeavors. Their dedicated service will significantly contribute to the growth and progress of ANA Osun and the Nigerian literary scene as a whole,” the association stated.
