Borno-born Mustapha Gajibo manufactures electric bus with solar panels
Mustapha Gajibo from Borno State has completed his Made-in-Nigeria 100 per cent electric bus that also uses solar panels while in motion.
The bus is a 12-seater and can go a distance of 212km on one charge.
It can clock a speed of 110km/hr speed and it’s fully air conditioned with a voice command system.
Most importantly the electric bus is built using 65 per cent locally sourced materials.
Some residents have hailed Gajibo’s exploit saying that it’s the right way to solving the subsidy removal.
