Chinasa hails mothers, describes women as beacons of hope, strength
Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, has hailed mothers as he paid tribute to their unwavering commitment to God and humanity.
He made this remark in his goodwill message at the Methodist Women Fellowship, Uzuakoli Diocese, on the occasion of Ezinne Award Service on Sunday at the Dodds Cathedral Uzuakoli.
He said, “My esteemed and cherished women of our esteemed church, on this momentous occasion of your Ezinne Award ceremony, I address you with profound pride and gratitude, extending my heartfelt congratulations. Today, we assemble not only to commemorate your accomplishments but to pay tribute to the unwavering spirit that resides within each of you. Your exceptional contributions have left an everlasting impression on our church and humanity at large.
“Your resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment to serving God and humanity have not only elevated your own lives but have also enriched the lives of those fortunate enough to know you. You have stood as beacons of hope and exemplified resilience, illuminating the inherent strength that dwells within each of us.”
According to Dogo Bende, the sacrifices of mothers are immeasurable, adding that “Today, I acknowledge the countless hours you have dedicated to various noble causes, the unwavering support you have extended to those in need, and the boundless love you have shared with your families and friends.”
He highlighted significant areas women have chosen leadership, “By embracing the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, prioritising education, health, empowerment, and equality, you have laid the foundation for progress within our church and community. Your efforts promise a brighter future for generations to come.”
While lauding their effort, Chinasa urged awardees to continue to shine the light, adding that he volunteers in his capacity to champion gender equality across all divides.
“Your accomplishments have shattered barriers and challenged preconceived notions. Time and time again, you have demonstrated that gender should never be a hindrance, but rather a wellspring of boundless potential.
“As both a Leader and a Politician, I make a solemn vow to foster an environment that upholds respect, support, and unwavering encouragement for women, empowering them to fearlessly pursue their dreams. I dedicate myself to championing gender equality and tirelessly dismantling any remaining obstacles that impede progress.
“Today, as we bestow upon you the well-deserved EZINNE AWARDS, we not only celebrate the accolades you have earned, but also the countless lives you have touched through your actions. Your stories will serve as inspiration to young girls within our churches and communities, igniting within them a fire of aspiration and dreams.
“You are more than just role models; you personify hope itself.Let this ceremony serve as a heartfelt reminder that your efforts are not overlooked and your contributions are deeply valued.
“Once again, congratulations to all the extraordinary women being honoured today. May your radiance continue to shine brilliantly, guiding the way for others to embrace,” Chinasa added.
