Gov Kefas reduces Taraba ministries to 21
….says saved resources would be used to better the lives of the people
The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, on Thursday disclosed that he has restructured his government by reducing the number of ministries in the state from 25 to 21.
Kefas made this disclosure on his verified twitter handle, adding that it was inline with the needs of the state.
According to him, the restructuring was in a bid to optimise resources utilisation and improve the well-being of Tarabans.
He wrote, “R e s t r u c t u r i n g! In the face of economic challenges and the need to increase productivity, we have restructured the hitherto 25 Ministries into a more comprehensive 21 Ministries inline with the new needs of the State. This restructuring is to streamline processes and optimise resources utilisation; and ultimately improve the well-being of the people of Taraba.”
