INEC fails to produce alleged three witnesses

The Independent National Electoral Commission on Monday failed to produce alleged witnesses in the Presidential Election Tribunal.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the case involves Labour Party, its candidate Peter Obi, All Progressives Congress, then candidate now President Bola Tinubu and INEC.
Following the failure of the electoral umpire to provide its witnesses, the Chairman of the tribunal Justice Haruna Tsammani, adjourned the proceedings till Tuesday.
INEC’s lawyer AB Mahmoud, SAN, had told the court that he was not in touch with the witnesses, adding that he should be given till Tuesday to produce them.

INEC: My lord this week is for the defence and we have three witnesses to present and we need three days but none of our witness is in court and I’m not sure if they are coming because I’ve not spoken to him yet.
That is our unfortunate situation today, and we would like to seek an adjournment until tomorrow
