Inter-platoon drills competition: NYSC Coordinator lauds army for instilling discipline
The State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps Gombe, Dawut Jidda, has commended the Camp Commandant, Captain ST Simon and his personnel for instilling discipline in the 2023 Batch B stream I orientation course.
Jidda, made that known at the inter-platoon drills competition at NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp Amada, Gombe State.
He called on Corps members to remain dedicated and discipline throughout the service year ,adding that drills and parade not only instil discipline in Corps members but also encourage them work as a team.
Meanwhile, the Camp Commandant, Captain Simon, described the Corps members as ” potential Military personnel” and a crop of highly dedicated young men and women.
At the end of the competition, the results are as follows:
Wooden spoon- Platoon 10
3rd position – Platoon 9
2nd Position – Platoon 4
1st Position – Platoon 1
Best female Commander – Platoon 4
Best male Commander- Platoon 9
Overall best Commander – Platoon 3( 0013)
