Overland Airways to commence Gombe- Abuja operation soon, as Gov Yahaya concludes discussion with MD
Overland Airways, will soon commence a scheduled commercial flight services from Abuja to Gombe.
The Managing Director of Overland Airways, Captain Edward Boyo, disclosed this after a meeting with Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, CON at the Governor’s Lodge in Abuja.
The operation, he said, will commence in earnest within the next four weeks , adding that it will be optimally serviced to ensure maximum benefits of air travel on Abuja- Gombe route.
The Managing Director assured Governor Yahaya that the flight services to Gombe will be highly reliable and will contribute to economic development of Gombe state, especially given its strategic position as commercial nerve centre with huge economic opportunities which must be properly harnessed for the benefit of the state and its residents.
He thanked Governor Inuwa Yahaya for his support and visionary disposition which attracted Overland Airways to begin the Abuja- Gombe – Abuja operation.
