The North-East Youth Initiative For Development has distributed Sallah meat to less privileged persons in Damaturu Local Government Area of Yobe State.

The Information Officer of the Initiative Comrade Abdul’Azeez Yakubu, stated this to newsmen in Damaturu the state capital of Yobe.

He said over 1500 families have benefitted from the display of kindness and about 7,500 individuals were targeted in a 1:5 ratio.

According to him, the Executive Director of the organisation Comrade Dauda Muhammad Gombe, declared the session open and asked Almighty Allah to abundantly reward the Muslim donors in Singapore and Malaysia.
He said Comrade Dauda Gombe, expressed satisfaction and appreciation to the officials of NEYIF, the two partners; Muslim Valley and Isa Chikaji Foundation, volunteers and other staff of JNI, FOMWAN, Women in Daawah, MSO, Sadaqatul Jariya organisation, Man O War and other supporting staff.

“Largest appreciation and thank you to all who directly or indirectly contributed in this project, he said.
