Urgent message to the Gov of Delta State: The youths are angry with state’s PDP

Dear Governor,
We write this urgent message on behalf of the youth of Delta State, who have expressed their deep dissatisfaction and anger with the Delta State PDP. The question that has been echoing among the youth is, “Is this how the Ukodo will go round and reach everybody as promised?” It is with great concern that we bring these grievances to your attention.
The youth of Delta State have been fervent supporters of the Delta State PDP, trusting in the party’s promises of progress, development, and inclusivity. However, their expectations have been met with disappointment, as the reality on the ground fails to match the rhetoric. The opposition parties have seized this opportunity to mock and discredit the Delta State PDP, further fueling the frustrations of the youth.
One of the major concerns expressed by the youth is the lack of representation and opportunities for the younger generation in political appointments. They argue that the next batch of appointments should not be dominated solely by the “old takers” who have been entrenched in politics since 1999. The youth are eager for a paradigm shift, a change that recognizes their potential and includes them in the governance of Delta State.
It is important to emphasize that this message is not a personal view but a collective sentiment expressed by the youth of Delta State who are acutely aware of their power of franchise. They believe in the democratic process and recognize their role in shaping the future of the state. As the backbone of society, the youth of Delta State deserve to have their concerns heard and addressed.
Governor, the fate of Delta State lies in your hands. The youth are looking to you to make the right decisions and usher in a new era of inclusivity and youth participation in governance. They yearn for leaders who understand their aspirations and can effectively address the challenges they face.
We urge you to take immediate action and ensure that the Delta State PDP listens to the voices of the youth. Engage in a dialogue with young people across the state, listen to their concerns, and incorporate their perspectives into policy-making and political appointments. This inclusive approach will not only bridge the gap between the youth and the government but also harness the enormous potential that the younger generation brings to the table.
The youth of Delta State are demanding a change in the way politics is conducted, a change that reflects their aspirations and empowers them to actively contribute to the development of the state. They are eager to see a Delta State PDP that lives up to its promises and works tirelessly to address the pressing issues faced by the youth, such as unemployment, education, infrastructure, and healthcare.
Governor, the time to act is now. The youth of Delta State are watching, and their support and engagement are pivotal to the success of the Delta State PDP. By embracing the energy, ideas, and enthusiasm of the youth, you have the opportunity to lead Delta State into a brighter and more prosperous future.
We hope that this urgent message reaches you and serves as a catalyst for change within the Delta State PDP. Let the voice of the youth be heard, and let their hopes and dreams be realized through a government that values their contribution and places them at the center of governance.
