The South-West Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Alh Suraj Owolabi, has issued a call to action to all state chairmen of the party.
This directive follows the convening of the First National Working Committee Meeting on August 14, 2023, presided over by Barrister Sylvester Ezeokenwa, the National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA).
After the meeting, Owolabi emphasised the need for the National Executive Council members of APGA in the Southwest to actively engage in discussions on advancing the party’s interests both in the region and on a national scale.
With a focus on boosting party engagement, Alh Suraj Owolabi stressed the importance of immediate action at the state, local government, and ward levels. He urged state chapters to initiate meetings and activities to galvanize party members and supporters.
Looking ahead, plans were revealed to convene South-West Region meetings in the near future. These meetings are expected to provide a platform for in-depth discussions on strategies to strengthen APGA’s presence and impact in the region.
In order to ensure smooth collaboration, Owolabi encouraged close cooperation between state Chairmen and National Officers. He called for a harmonious working relationship that allows state Chairmen to operate effectively without any hindrances.
