Chieftaincy Affairs now under Gombe SGS’ office
……as Professor Njodi interfaces with Traditional rulers
Following the approval and transfer of machinery of chieftaincy affairs from the Ministry of Local Government to the office of the Secretary to the State Government by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Secretary to Government of the State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has fully taken charge of chieftaincy matters in the State.

The SGS who has been engaging with traditional rulers in the state has met on Thursday with the Lamido Akko and Emir of Yamaltu in company of their District and Village Heads.

Njodi during the interface tasked them on vigilance and peaceful co-existence in their domains.

He assured them of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s determination to work with the traditional institution for the betterment of all.

In their submissions, the Lamido Akko Alhaji Mohammed Atiku and Emir of Yamaltu Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu, assured of their continued support to Governor Yahaya’s led administration and lauded his developmental projects across the state, wishing him and government well in his second term of service to the state and humanity.
