Ex-Gombe United Technical Adviser Zubairu joins El-Kanemi Warriors
Immediate past Gombe United Technical Adviser Aliyu Zubairu, has joined Maiduguri based Nigeria National League side El-Kanemi Warriors Football Club.
Zubairu before abandoning his former club Gombe United few days ago lamented poor and unfavourable working condition.
He decried unpaid match bonuses, stressing that it hampered the delivery of his then boys.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that Zubairu in the last seasons had impacted greatly on the club’s rating, despite the gaffer’s challenges.
With the departure of the experienced gaffer the chances of shaky Gombe United FC may be unknown in the coming football season.
Zubairu is expected to restore the chances of his newly found love El-Kanemi Warriors, by bringing the Team out to Nigeria Premier Football League side, just as he did Gombe United in 2021 and then maintained united in the NPFL before quitting the club in 2023.
