Gombe Govt receives new Customs Controller
The newly posted Controller of the Nigerian Custom Service Gombe State Command has on Thursday, paid an introductory visit to the state government with a promise to work in synergy with other sister security agencies in the maintenance of peace.
The Gombe State Controller, Deputy Controller S.Okonmah made the pledge when he visited the Chief Scribe of the State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi.
He said as a command they will contribute their own quarter in making the state better describing Gombe State as a beautiful city.
DC Okonmah, while pledging loyalty to the government also commended Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s developmental stride.
Secretary to Government of the State Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, while welcoming the new Controller on behalf of the State Government assured him of government support to enable his command and other security agencies succeed as they perform their functions which are to the benefits of the state.
He advised him not to relent in bringing issues needing state government’s attention.
