Gov Yahaya mourns Galadiman Dukku
Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has sent a high-powered government delegation under the headship of the Secretary to Government of the State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, to commiserate with the Emir and the entire Emirate of Dukku over the demise of Galadiman Dukku, Alhaji Muktar Bappa (Galadiman Dukku), who passed on Saturday at the age of 63 after a brief illness.
Conveying Governor Yahaya’s grief to the Emir and deceased family in Dukku on Sunday, the SGS described the incident as a huge loss not only to Dukku Emirate but the state and nation at large.
He said, “on behalf of His Excellency Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya CON, Government and people of Gombe , we have come to identify with you at this moment of bereavement. Though very painful but, as people of faith we all know that death is inevitable and urge the bereaved to take solace in the fact that we all come from Allah and unto him we shall all return, prayed Allah to grant late Galadima Aljannatul Firdausi.”
He explained that late Galadima lived a fulfilled life exalting his good virtues to humanity, his good relationship posture, contributions to the development of Dukku Emirate, the State and nation at large.
The Emir of Dukku, Alhaji Haruna Rashid II, appreciated the governor for sending such a high-powered delegation to commiserate with them at their moment of bereavement saying, the deceased was such a kind hearted and perfect personality with a good relationship posture as attested to by the SGS and prayed to God to bless the family he left behind.
Special prayers were offered specially for the repose of the deceased at Emir’s palace and the deceased family residence by Alhaji Buba Sheru.
The delegation comprise of some Permanent Secretaries and APC Chieftain Sheru.
