Gov Yahaya receives Lafarge Africa officials in Govt House
Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has received in audience, the Executive management team of Lafarge Africa PLC.
The team was led by the Group Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Lolu Alade Akinyemi, accompanied by the Managing Director of AshakaCem, a subsidiary of Lafarge, Alhaji Ibrahim Aminu, alongside other directors of the company.
During the meeting, issues of mutual interest were discussed, with emphasis on ways of strengthening partnership between Gombe State Government and the Cement manufacturing firm to ensure that the host community and the state in general benefit maximally from the factory’s operations, services and numerous opportunities.
The meeting had in attendance, the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, and Commissioner- designate, Barr. Zubair Muhammad Umar (Chiroman Gombe).
