Federal Capital Territory on Friday signed agreement with park and pay companies(NAJEC Ltd and ATB Nig. Ltd).

The agreement is geared towards ensuring sanity among road users.

PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that cars parked on the work-way, on top of the green grasses by the road side attracts between #15k to 25k as fine.

“It is advisable to pay #100 for 1hour or park at a bus-stop if not your car will be towed away and you will end up paying #15k,” some motorists told our correspondent.

This sanction would eliminate gridlocks, which are caused by wrong and indiscriminate parking in Abuja metropolis.
