Professor Njodi tasks Boh Educational Endowment Fund on investment opportunities
….donates one Million Naira to the Fund
The Secretary to Government of Gombe State Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has called on Boh Educational Endowment Fund to take advantage of investment opportunities in the state to raise more funds to expand its noble objectives.

Njodi who gave the counsel on Tuesday when he received the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the fund on a congratulatory visit also noted with delight the significant progress and effort of Board to sustain it’s activities over the years.

He said with the rising cost of living soaring much more children of the less privileged in the area will be looking up to fund for support and that can only be possible if more sources of funds are exploited hence, the need for investment of the little money the Board generates to accommodate more beneficiaries.
Njodi said as an academician of repute he consider the vision and mission of the Boh Educational Endowment Fund as worthy cause that need to be supported, encouraged to make it a model for other communities to emulate.
He expressed delight the fund which he has been part of since inception has indeed provided alot of indigent children the opportunity to pursue their life dreams through education.
While assuring the Boh Educational Endowment Fund of his continued active participation in it’s programs Professor Njodi announced one million naira as personal token of support.
In his presentation earlier, Chairman of the Boh Educational Endowment Fund, Dr Isaac Laudarji, said they were at Government House to congratulate Governor Yahaya for his reelection and to also identify with the SSG over his reappoinment which he said was a testament to performance in the first tenure.
Laudarji explained that the has accorded them the opportunity to share the success story of the Endowment Fund and it’s challenges as the SSG has one founding fathers of Educational fund.
He disclosed that fund which purposefully established to provide support for indigent children in Boh Community that covers orphans and those whose parents are struggling to live the basic support to pursue education.
The Board Chairman revealed that so far about 214 beneficiaries of the fund’s support have graduated in various institutions of higher learning with many amongst them working and positions in high places.
He however noted that with the increasing number of applicants more sources of funding is required and appealed to the SSG to use his wide connections and influence in that direction.
