Team sets to commence two-day enumeration of faecal waste flow in Gombe
The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Water Resources Gombe State, Salisu Adamu Sambo, has parleyed with some representatives of Federal Ministry of Water Resources.

Represented by Director Water Resources, Mr Williams Abba, on Wednesday received the delegation at the old state secretariat.
Our correspondent reports that the team’s visit marks the commencement of a two-day enumeration exercise for faecal waste flow diagram.

Sambo while delivering the welcome address expressed satisfaction and delight on the choice of Gombe state for the enumeration exercise.
He equally enjoined the team from Abuja to enjoy the hospitality of Gombe State, while reiterating the importance of the enumeration exercise as “it is key for stakeholders in the Water and Sanitation sector for proper guide in enacting policy’s in the WASH sector,” Sambo added.

The Permanent Secretary also admonished the selected enumerators from the Ministry of Water Resources, Environment and GOSEPA to be of good conduct throughout the enumeration exercise and also wished them well as they travel through to the various Local Government Areas where the enumeration exercise would be conducted.
Speaking earlier, Team lead from The Federal Ministry of Water Resources Engr Valentine Alake, expressed optimism of a successful enumeration exercise going by the warm reception accorded to him and his team since their arrival to Gombe State.
He thereafter, highlighted the benefits of conducting a credible survey which will guide them in achieving a sheat flow diagram which will illustrate the activities of faecal waste flow from the containment to re-use/disposal for Gombe State.
Alake, thereafter began the training of selected enumerators.
The opportunity was resourceful and interactive, as Enumerators thereafter, departed to their various LGAs where the survey would be conducted.
