AYAGG awards Abdulrahman Mustapha Baba icon of Societal Development
….inducts him into hall of fame
Arewa Youth Advocacy for Good Governance, on Monday, presented an award of icon of Societal Development to Chief Executive Officer of Dankawu Universal Services Limited, Architect Abdulrahman Mustapha Baba.

Our correspondent reports that the award presentation was done at his office located at Duwa plaza opposite Bauchi park, Gombe.

Speaking, the Chairman of AYAGG, Ambassador Abdulrahman Ibrahim, described Baba as a humble personality, noting that his conducts are worthy of emulation in Gombe and Nigeria in general.

He disclosed that the AYAGG awards were meant for exemplary minds who have exemplified courage, hard work, discipline and purpose.

The leader of the delegation said the activities of Arewa Youth Advocacy include training youths on leadership, entrepreneurship and fighting Gender-based Violence in the society among others.
Ibrahim further added, “We are partnering with NDLEA and Pharmaceuticals Society of Nigeria and Industrial training fund any other organisations that have interest in moving the society forward to train youths on various skills.”

He appealed to the CEO of Dankawu Universal Services to continue doing the good works, “in uplifting the life of people in the society especially the less privileged ones,”he added.
Responding, Architect Abdulrahman Mustapha Baba, who was represented by the Director, Administration and Finance, of the organisation, Abdullahi Mustapha Baba, welcomed the delegation and described Dankawu as an organisation that was established in 2011 as computer centre with three people, “but God has blessed it with more than 500 employees,” he said

Baba, While commending the Arewa Youth Advocacy for Good Governance for inducting him its hall of fame, highlighted the efforts of some of his enterprises adding “Dankawu Entrepreneurship and Vocational School Gombe has trained more than 500 youths in different entrepreneurship skills per year. Also, the company engages in farming activities that farms more than 50 hectares in both dry and raining farming season.”
