Forum commits to support APC Govts across all levels
The Retired Senior Civil Servants All Progressives Congress Forum has pledged unwavering support to the success of APC-led administrations at all levels.
Chairman of the Forum in Gombe State, Ambassador Manaja Isa, stated this on Thursday, when he led the executive committee on a solidarity and congratulatory visit to Government House Gombe.
Isa said as committed members of the APC, the forum having campaigned relentlessly for the emergence of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s reelection they are duty bound to also contribute in every way possible for the administration’s success.
He said though they are retired Civil Servants they still have something to offer in moving the state forward either individually or collectively maintaining their willingness to meaningfully contribute when called upon.
Isa used the visit to congratulate Governor Inuwa Yahaya, on his victory at the polls and the Secretary to Government of the State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar, on his reappointment.
Receiving the the executive members of the Senior Retired Civil Servants APC Forum on behalf of Governor Inuwa Yahaha, Njodi appreciated the Senior citizens for identifying with the APC as a party and Governor Yahaya’s leadership in the state.
He also assured that government recognises the important role the forum played before and during the elections and is equally optimistic that they have a lot to offer going forward.
He called on members of the forum to collectively articulate their position to help government in policy and programmes formulation as persons endowed with vast experiences who have served the nation diligently in decision making positions at various level of governance in the country.
Present during the visit were; the acting Head of civil service Ahmed Kasimu Abdullahi, Permanent Secretaries, PPS and Directors in the SGS’ office.
