Lagbaja’s wife pledges support for troops welfare through education for children
Wife of the Nigeria Chief of Army Staff, Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, has pledged to continue to support troops in discharging their duty of securing the nation’s territorial integrity by providing quality education to children at the barracks through the platform of the Nigeria Army Officers Wives ASSOCIATION.
She stated this in Sokoto where she lay the foundation stone of an Information and Communication Technology centre and commissioned other new projects at the NAOWA model primary school, Giginya Army Barracks Sokoto.
Mrs Lagbaja who also distributed food items and other consumables to wives of soldiers especially widows of falling heroes says NAOWA will continue to support the barrack community and children of soldiers to acquire quality education for the improvement of their wellbeing.
She salute the courage and commitment of the chairperson of NAOWA at the Giginya Army Barracks for their enduring legacy of providing serene and conducive environment for children to learn at the NAOWA model school at the barracks.
