Sardaunan Akko Foundation donates N1m to School of Technology, Barunde, Kumo

Sardaunan Akko Foundation on Saturday, donated N1million to School of Technology, Barunde, Kumo in Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State.

Our correspondent reports that this was geared towards boosting the education sector in Nigeria, particularly Gombe State.

PERISCOPE NIGERIA recalls that the organisation is renowned for helping poor and vulnerable individuals across the country, under leadership of Alhaji Haruna Danfulani Abdullahi.

Two months ago similar gesture was yielded to the Police Community Relation Corps to help them restore peace and eradicate kalare activities currently bedevilling the town.

According to the founder of Sardauna Akko Foundation, he gave out the money to enable the School provide more facilities.
“In order for the students to conduct experimental research in the laboratory and many more,” he added.
Represented by Alhaji AliSanata, he commended the school authorities and described the Barunde school as one of the standard school for acquiring science knowledge in the town.
He said, “since the inception of the school, Kumo is developing by having many students from various states which is definitely growing many sectors in education, business as well as human development in general.”
The event that took place in Kumo, had in attendance the Emir of Akko; Alhaji Umar Muhammad Atiku, the District Head of Barunde Alhaji Idi Galadima, government officials, business tycoons and many respected dignitaries from various places.
