Technical Committee meets in Maiduguri, ahead of NEGF meeting
Preparatory to the eighth North-East Governors’ Forum meeting scheduled for Saturday, in Maiduguri, Borno State, the Chairman of Secretaries of State Governments of the region, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi is leading a technical Session to kickstart the meeting.
Addressing the gathering Professor Njodi, who doubles as Secretary to Government of Gombe State, said the meeting was geared towards reviewing previous minutes and also set the agenda of NEGF meeting.
While congratulating new members among them, Njodi also admonished members to freely contribute to the deliberations.
The meeting also observed a minute silence in honour of former Secretary to Borno State Government, late Alhaji Usman Shuwa a founding member the Forum of North East.
The meeting had in attendance all the SGS’ in the North East to include Yobe; Baba Malam Wali mni,
Adamawa, Hon Auwal Bamaga Tukur
Borno ,Tijjani Bukar, Bauchi Barrister Ibrahim Mohamed Kashim, and Timothy Kataps of Taraba.
