The issue between Fulani herdsmen and farmers at southern Taraba State has been resolved
A chaos that led to strong misunderstanding between Fulani herdsmen and farmers at southern Taraba State has become history, as delegated committees of Miyatti Allah and the members of the community had a reconciliation meeting at the youth hall in Takum Local Government Area.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Miyatti Allah assured them that no any damages can occur in their farms, because they took up any necessary actions over the herdsmen in order to eradicate any farm consumption by the cows rearers. This is followed as a result of the serious actions taken by the community members.
When discovered that not only their farms are consume but deteriorating environmental conditions, desertification and soil degradation caused by them. It was in the recent months ago that the farmers at some southern Taraba community strictly warned herdsmen by entering their areas with cows as a result of fearing of farms sabotage and their transplant trees which was planted purposely for vegetation.
The Takum community youth leader, in his reconciliation observations listed some guidelines for herdsmen living in the areas, and fortunately the laments have been accepted by the Miyatti Allah delegation.
It has been long that the series of cases reported about herdsmen from the different areas but today it has been resolved collectively in attendance of every community leader. According to an eyes witness who his name don’t want to be mention.
