Fawu receives APC Billiri LGA, Ward Executives on courtesy visit
The Gombe State Commissioner for Water, Environment and Forest Resources Mohammed Saidu Fawu, has on Tuesday, played host to Billiri APC Local Government and ward Executives who were in his office for a courtesy visit.
The Honourable Commissioner who expressed joy seeing party executives from the Local Government down to ward level in his office to congratulate him urged them to be united and loyal to the government as they stand to gain more in unity which is key to success.
He reaffirmed his commitment to party development and urged stakeholders to bring to his notice important government programmes so he could adequately use his office to harness dividends of democracy for the benefit and growth of their locality.
Fawu used the opportunity to call on them to give maximum cooperation and support for the success of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya’s administration.
Earlier, APC Party Chairman Mr Ishaku Zakari, who spoke on behalf of the delegation congratulated the Commissioner on his appointment, while lauding Yahaya for finding their son worthy to hold such important portfolio of Ministry of Water, Environment and Forest Resources.
Zakari also wished him well as he discharged his duties and responsibilities bestowed on him.
He also assured him of their support and urged him to support the party so it could attain its full potentials in Billiri LGA and beyond.
A special prayer session was thereafter held for the success of the Commissioner.
Director Water Resources Mr. Williams Abba was on ground to welcome the party officials to the Ministry on behalf of the Permanent Secretary.
