Gov Yahaya attends funeral prayers of late District Head of Kwadon
Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, was among hundreds of sympathisers who attended the funeral prayer of the late District Head of Kwadon, Alhaji Mohammed Sani Abubakar, who passed on in the early hours of Tuesday at the Age of 53 years after a brief illness.

Represented by the Secretary to Government of the State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, the Governor described the late district head of Kwadon as a firm and decisive ruler who devoted his time and energy to the growth and development of the district in particular and the State in general.
The Governor described his relationship with the family of the deceased as extremely close and one which is anchored on trust, mutual respect and solidarity.
Yahaya therefore admonished the family of the deceased and Yalmatu Emirates to take solace in the fact that the late District Head lived a life of selfless service to his people and the state as a whole.

The Governor prayed the Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest and his family, Kwadon District and Yamaltu Emirate the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Responding the Emir of Yamaltu Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu , expressed his gratitude and that of the entire people of Yamaltu Emirate to Governor Yahaya’s show of concern by sending a high-powered delegation to attend the funeral prayers commiserate with them in their moment of bereavement.

The Emir described the late district head as a dedicated and hard working personality who would greatly be missed by all.
He informed the representative of Governor Yahaya that, according to tradition, when such an incident occurs, the Galadima is expected to overseer the District pending the nomination and subsequent approval of who becomes the new district head by the government.
The late District Head of Kwadon ruled for 15 years and is said to be an excellent Hajj officer Yamaltu Deba Local Government had produce in recent times.
Present were the Speaker and members of the State House of Assembly, Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries and other top government officials.
Special prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of the late Alhaji Mohammed Sani Abubakar.
