The people of Kogi State are tired of the eight years of misrule by Governor Yahaya Bello. They are saying enough is enough to his attempt to perpetuate himself in power through his proxy, Ahmed Ododo.

Bello’s administration has been characterized by incompetence, corruption, and insensitivity to the needs of the people. The state has been plunged into a state of despair and degeneration with widespread poverty, unemployment, and insecurity.

The civil service, the engine of government, has been severly bastardized by Bello’s phony audit exercise. Civil servants have been paid half salaries for years, and local government workers have been subjected to even worse conditions. The state has witnessed zero development under Bello’s watch.

In a desperate attempt to cling to power, Bello has decided to impose his anointed candidate, Usman Ahmed Ododo, on the people of Kogi State. Ododo, who is the current Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, is a close ally of Bello and has been accused of overseeing the massive looting of local government funds.

Kogites are resolute in their opposition to Bello’s third term bid. They are demanding a change in leadership, a leader who is humble, compassionate, and has the capacity to think outside the box.

Murtala Yakubu Ajaka: The Leader Kogi Needs

The man who fits the bill is the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Murtala Yakubu Ajaka. Ajaka is a humble and compassionate leader with the milk of human kindness. He is a man of the people who understands their pains and is committed to addressing their challenges.

Ajaka has a proven track record of success in both the public and private sectors. He is a visionary leader with a clear plan for Kogi State. He has pledged to harness the state’s huge potential in mineral resources, dynamic cultures, and unparalleled tourism potentials to create jobs, improve infrastructure, and boost economic growth.

Why Bello and Ododo Must Be Defeated

Bello and Ododo do not deserve to be in political leadership. They have failed the people of Kogi State in every way imaginable. They have shown no compassion for the suffering of the people and have only been concerned with enriching themselves and their cronies.

Bello’s third term bid is a direct assault on the democracy and the will of the people. It is an attempt to perpetuate himself in power against the wishes of the majority.

Kogites must stand up and say no to Bello’s third term bid. They must vote for Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, the leader who can rescue Kogi State from the abyss.

Humility and Compassion in Political Leadership

Humility and compassion are essential qualities for any political leader. A humble leader is willing to listen to the people and learn from their mistakes. A compassionate leader is able to feel the pain of the people and is committed to addressing their needs.

Both humility and compassion are lacking in the leadership of Yahaya Bello. Bello is an arrogant and insensitive leader who has shown no regard for the people of Kogi State. He has refused to listen to their concerns and has failed to address their challenges.

Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, on the other hand, is a humble and compassionate leader. He is a man of the people who understands their pains and is committed to addressing their challenges. He is the leader Kogi State needs at this critical time.

Ajaka is reliable enough to be trusted to implement his campaign promises:

Economy: Ajaka will focus on creating jobs and boosting economic growth. He will do this by attracting new businesses to the state, supporting existing businesses, and developing the state’s infrastructure.

Education: Ajaka will improve the quality of education in Kogi State by investing in schools and teachers. He will also make education more affordable and accessible for all.

Healthcare: Ajaka will improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare in Kogi State. He will do this by investing in hospitals and clinics, and by making healthcare more affordable for all.

Security: Ajaka will address the security challenges facing Kogi.

Kogi shall rise again.
