Yakubu Philemon emerges third SAN from Gombe State
Barrister Yakubu Philemon, from Dadiya in Balanga Local Government Area of Gombe State, has been elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, becoming the third indigene of Gombe state to attain the rank.
Our correspondent reports that his elevation makes him the 3rd person to be conferred with the position in Gombe State.
Philemon was among the 58 Senior lawyers elevated to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee, headed by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola , at its 159th plenary session held on October 12,2023 in Abuja.
This recognition is a testament to his outstanding legal career and contributions to the legal profession.
