……Aliyu Hussaini to represent Gombe State in zonal competition

The All Nigerian Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools has organised essay writing competition for Gombe Senior Secondary Schools.
Periscope Nigeria reports that the competition held on Tuesday 7th November, 2023.
The event took place at Government Comprehensive Secondary School Hassan Central, Gombe.
The participants include one representative from each of the 15 public Senior Secondary Schools within Gombe metropolis.
The event was described by participants as very competitive as they tried their best, however, Aliyu Hussaini from Government Day Secondary Gandu, was victorious as he emerged first position, followed by Government Science Secondary School one as second position and Government Science Technical College Gombe as third position respectively.
The principal of GDSS Gandu, Mr Othaman Buba, in his remarks commended the effort of ANCOPSS Gombe State Chapter for organising the event, saying that it would boost creative writing ability among students in the state.
Commenting on victory of his school over its first position, the principal emphasised that the victory reflects the hard work of his school teachers for their collaborative effort, adding that it showcases their attempt in discharging their duties diligently.
The school management encouraged Hussaini to seek guidance from his teachers and put more effort, as he settles for the next phase of the competition as he would represent Gombe zone in the next step of the activity.
