….. charges participants to always take advantage of learning platforms
The Secretary to Government of Gombe State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has challenged the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries in the state not to relent in taking advantage of learning platforms in order to improve their capacity and capabilities in the civil service.

Njodi threw the challenge at a two-day in house induction course organise by the office of the Head of civil service of the state.
Njodi noted that since the government cannot sponsor the training of all Civil servants at the same time, it became imperative to build the capacity of accounting officers of Ministries Departments, and Agencies who are expected to cascade such knowledge in the form of on the job training.

The Chief scribe of Gombe State called on MDAs in the state to always take advantage of training Institutions to increase their capacity and connectivity.
Speaking earlier, the Head of Civil Service Kasimu Abdullahi, explained that the two days in house induction course was organised to bring the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries up to speed with requisite knowledge and expertise so that they can discharge their duties effectively.

He thanked Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, and Professor Njodi for their support in preparations leading to the successful hosting of the course.
During the two days capacity building, presentations are expected from the two former Heads of Service in the persons of; Aliyu Kamara, and Ibrahim Kuna Biri among other resource persons.
