The Secretary to Government of Gombe State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has been honoured with the outstanding leadership Award during an Executive leadership retreat 2023 organised by the Strategic Leadership and Policy National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, Nigeria.
The Award which is in recognition of the SGS’ outstanding and incredible leadership role as a trailblazer in due process, transparency and in conduct of government business.
The conferment of the honour elevates the SSG to the status of an icon which is in addition to many feathers Njodi has gathered so far.
In his acceptance speech, Njodi represented by the Gombe State Liaison officer Barrister Fatima Birma, paid glowing tributes to Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, for giving him the rare privilege and opportunity to serve.
He said the administration of Governor Yahaya embarked on transformation changes, the elimination of administrative bottlenecks to businesses and reforming the economy base of the people.
The Award ceremony took place at the Nigerian Army Resource centre, Asokoro.
