The Secretary to Government of Gombe State, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has lauded the Founder of Halima Factor Community Initiative for organising and successfully hosting the 10th annual Gombe Day of Literature/ 3rd North-East festival of Literature and Creativity held in the state capital recently.

Njodi stated this when he granted audience to the Founder of the Initiative Halima Usman, who was in his office to thank the state government for its continuous support to her organisation.
The SGS disclosed that Usman is a committed personality with selflessness desire to succeed in her quest to serve humanity, adding that “individuals with such character need all the support, solidarity and encouragement to turn around the fortune of the society.”

He explained that Usman who was his student needs encouragement to enable her organisation devise more means of impacting on the society especially the younger ones who are future leaders adding that, “with what Halima and her team are doing i see brighter future for the Nigerian youth.”
He thanked Halima Factor Community Initiative for its humanitarian services to the people of the state saying Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, is fully aware of the organisation’s activities and would continue to support the Initiative to succeed.
Speaking earlier, the Founder of Halima Factor Community Initiative, who organised the 10th annual Gombe Day of Literature/ 3rd North East festival of Literature and Culture expressed gratitude to the Gombe State Government for the support that led to the successful organisation and hosting of the twin events which attracted the likes of the former Chief of Army Staff Gen T. Y Burutai whose presence and other dignitaries inspired the younger persons in the state.
She disclosed that the SGS, has been of immense support and encouragement towards the build up to the 10th annual Gombe Day of Literature/ 3rd North-East festival of Literature, Culture and Creativity and appreciated him and his staff for the support.
A special letter of appreciation and gift items were also presented to the Njodi.
