Nigeria’s pay television Startimes has announced its readiness to broadcast first Nigeria Premier Football League match on November 19th 2023 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Akwa United FC vs Remo Stars SC will be the first NPFL fixture televised on Startimes.
Periscope Nigeria gathered that the announcement is following its recently signed deal with NPFL’s board.
The president of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Musa Gusau and NPFL chairman, Hon Gbenga Elegbeleye, on Thursday in Abuja signed N1.06 billion five-year broadcast rights deal with the management of StarTimes, with an increment of N50 Million for every subsequent seasons.
