In a shocking turn of events, details have emerged on the expulsion of Chief Edozie Njoku from the All Progressives Grand Alliance. The expulsion notice, dated March 2, 2021, and signed by Bright Chimezie Uwakwe, Chairman of Ibeku Ward, Aboh Mbaise LGA, reveals the intricate details of the disciplinary actions that led to Chief Edozie Njoku’s removal from the party.

Recently, the APGA, under the leadership of Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, has officially disowned Edozie Njoku, who had been falsely presenting himself as the National Chairman of the party. In a televised appearance on TVC’s Politics Tonight, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa unequivocally clarified that Edozie Njoku is not a member of APGA, emphasizing the importance of upholding the party’s integrity.

The expulsion letter from Ibeku Ward outlines the grounds for Chief Edozie Njoku’s removal, citing allegations of misconduct, factionalization of the party, acts likely to breach peace, and damage to the party’s image. The disciplinary committee, established on October 5, 2020, conducted a thorough investigation into the allegations, and despite multiple notices, Chief Edozie Njoku failed to appear before the committee.

The decision to expel Chief Edozie Njoku aligns with the provisions of the APGA constitution, specifically Article 22(1b), 22(3a-e), and 22(4a-b). The leadership of APGA, Ibeku Ward, Aboh Mbaise, in an executive meeting, adopted the recommendations of the disciplinary committee, making it official that Chief Edozie Njoku is no longer a member of APGA Ibeku Ward in Aboh Mbaise LGA of Imo State.

The expulsion serves as a stern reminder that the APGA is committed to upholding its values and principles, and any actions contrary to these will be met with appropriate disciplinary measures.

The party remains focused on its mission to contribute to the growth and development of Nigeria, ensuring that only individuals aligned with its core values continue to represent the party at all levels.

The APGA urged its members and the public to disregard any claims made by Chief Edozie Njoku, as he no longer holds any official standing within the party.
