The Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, on Wednesday presented N800bn as 2024 budget estimate to the state House of Assembly.
Fubara presented the budget to a four-man assembly of lawmakers.
PERISCOPE NIGERIA reports that the governor made the presentation to a house comprising four members, following the defection of no fewer than 27 others to All Progressives Congress.
The four-man assembly was presided over by Edison Ehie, who was on Tuesday backed by a ruling of the Rivers State High Court as the authentic Speaker of the State Assembly.
Rivers State budget is tagged as the ‘Budget of Renewed Hope, Consolidation and Continuity’, the State Executive Council had earlier approved the budget estimates.
