Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has said Atiku Abubakar, is yet to reach out to him over the recent explosion in Ibadan.
Makinde, a member of the PDP, made the disclosure when he was visited by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi.
The governor said that, apart from President Bola Tinubu, who reached out by phone, and Peter Obi, who made a condolence visit, no other major presidential candidate in the 2023 election commiserated with him.
“I want to thank you especially for the visit. Out of the three major candidates who contested the 2023 election, only Atiku Abubakar, my own leader and our candidate hasn’t called to commiserate the state,” Makinde said in the video which has gone viral on social media,” Makinde said.
“I am saying this openly so that our leaders will know that we have time for politics and others. I want to thank you once again for coming.”
